French AntiHalf Glazed Gargoulette

We just love tablecloths and napkins from Bleu d’Olive and make sure to visit the booth at any fair we go to. I have bought several for myself, and my husband even said, “Let’s go back and get one for my brother and sister for Christmas gifts for next year.” He’s an engineer and everything has to have function and beauty. This fabric repels stains, even red wine, and washes beautifully. So I actually use my dinning room to dine! with kids! I’m always looking for another color to go with my seasonal decor.

During my childhood, my mother always set the table as if it were the cover of a magazine. Discovering the treasure trove of table linens from Bleu d'Olive has allowed me to continue that beautiful family tradition. As a major fan of Sophie, I've collected tablecloths for inside use and the holidays, as well as attractive table coverings for my patio, vintage napkins embroidered with my initials and handsome kitchen towels to use as stellar hostess gifts. Countless friends have enjoyed being referred to Sophie. As icing on the cake, I've gotten to practice my French with Sophie to conjure up fond memories of my time in Provence!

I have been buying these tablecloths since I ran into Sophie in Santa Fe, NM almost a decade ago. Slowly I have replaced tablecloths so that now I mostly have these fabulous coated ones that I use for adults, children and outside entertaining. They can be used in elegant and casual settings alike. The weave is perfect, comes in many sizes, and they are stain resistant, which remains even after laundering. I absolutely love them and cannot resist purchasing new ones!

I bought my lovely tablecloth and also placemats and napkins from Bleu d’Olive several years ago in Scottsdale and have used them time and time again! I absolutely love all of it, and the table always makes such a beautiful presentation, even when we eat outside on the patio (with the placemats). I doubt if I ever need to buy any table linens again, these don’t fade or ever look outdated, and I always get lots of compliments on them. A lovely, inviting and beautiful shop, and my ceramic Cicada from Bleu d'Olive for my outside wall has indeed brought me luck!

Sophie has the best selection of beautiful table linens and matching napkins. The quality and durability of these is hard to imagine-they wash perfectly and somehow even resist stains. I have four of your runners, a tablecloth, napkins. I use the first two runners until the Christmas season when I pull out two Christmas runners which replace these two for the holiday season. I love them and I feel that they add warmth and furniture artwork to my home.
