This Art Nouveau tile comes from the "Faienceries de Rousies", located in the North of France.  20th century.

There are 2 available tiles in the "Qui Se Marie Par Interet, De Sa Femme Devient Le Valet" ("Who Maries For Money Becomes His Wife's Servant" - some of these sayings are definitely from the old times as they are not exactly "politically correct"; to be taken with a grain of salt :)).  Each tile measures 6"x6".  Not two are alike, each using an array of different colors.

These tiles can be used as a focal point in a kitchen or fireplace backsplash, as a trivet, or as mini art pieces propped up on a piece of furniture.
